Festive Group Visit: George IV Art and Spectacle

Monday 16 December, 2-5pm
Queen's Gallery, London followed by drinks at The Phoenix

On Monday 16 December 2019 from 2-4pm we will have a Festive Group Visit to the fantastic new George IV exhibition which has just opened at the Queen’s Gallery in London. As there is some wonderful Sèvres porcelain on show we thought this was a perfect opportunity to enjoy the exhibition together.

Entrance to the exhibition is £13.50 per ticket, these can be purchased in advance or on the day and can also be changed into a one-year pass so you can return to the exhibition again and again:   https://www.rct.uk/collection/themes/exhibitions/george-iv-art-spectacle/the-queens-gallery-buckingham-palace

We will meet as a group for a short introduction on George IV as a Sèvres collector at 2pm and we will then be able to make our way around the exhibition at our own individual pace. We will reconvene again at 4pm and for anyone who would like to continue the discussion with a drink please feel free to join us at The Phoenix pub across the road.

For any additional information or if you are interested in joining us please email Dr Caroline McCaffrey-Howarth on c.mccaffrey-howarth@leeds.ac.uk or fpsmailing@gmail.com
