ROYAL BLUE – WILLIAM AND MARY’S FINEST DELFTWARE
The heyday of Dutch Delftware coincided with the reign of British monarchs William III and Mary II Stuart. Mary commissioned special pieces from the Delft potteries for her own collection, becoming a true ambassador for Delftware. This lecture will illustrate the research for the current exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Den Haag. You can follow its progress on Instagram @fortheloveofmary2.
