TWO TRAVELLERS: EXPLORING TWO WHITE FRENCH PORCELAIN FIGURES

Pamela Roditi

Pamela Roditi invites you, through Travelogues, Literature and Contemporary Print sources, to explore two hitherto unrecorded eighteenth-century French soft-paste porcelain figures, which will take you on a Tour of two distant corners of the World.

From the South Pacific to Tropical India and on to Europe.

The first trip concerns the ultimate adventurer and definitive Social Distancer, and the second, an exotic Animal which became a renowned voyager and a super-star in Europe.

Come and meet both of them with her…
